A report on News.com.au says music fans might soon have their iPods searched by Customs officers at airport security - and face jail if pirated music is found on them.
The report, from local indie newspaper mX, quotes the Choice.com.au director who points out that such a legal standpoint could be due to USA involvement,
"US music labels are keen for their government to sign up other countries to the zero-tolerance stance."
With the UK's special relationship, will it be long before a trip outside the EU will mean an ifrisk on your ipod?
