’15 Questions With Inju5tice’

group lineA new boyband you say? Well it would quite simply be an injustice (pardon the pun) if we didn’t check these boys out. So music.co.uk grabbed whizzed off our ‘15 Questions’ feature, and as you can see our success rate was pretty high. Ladies, welcome to the world of Inju5tice!

How would you describe your act, in the style of an advert?

“The next big thing!!!!!!!!!!!”

If you could read one newspaper headline about yourselves in 2010, what would it be?

INJU5TICE top the singles and album chart, and get nominated for Best Newcomer at the Brits – how amazing would that be!

If a radio station gave you control of their shows and playlists for a day, what would you do?

Play INJU5TICE’S new album all day!! Hahaha, and mix it in with some classic boyband music like Take That and The Backstreet Boys.

You decide to plan a launch for your new album/single release, what would your ideal event be?

Harry: The O2 Arena
Luke: Yeah that would be wicked, if we could fill it out!
Matt: Something big like Party In The Park or T4 On The Beach. That would be wicked!

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learnt about the music industry?

We are just starting out really, I don’t think we’ve done enough to learn something really valuable about the music industry, but I’m sure as time goes on, we will!

Are there any instruments or other music related skills you’d like to pick up or improve on?

Luke: I used to play keyboard, I would love to pick that back up!!
Harry: Bass Guitar.
Chris: Acoustic.
Matt: I’d love to pick up the piano again!
Luke: Ahhhhh lets do it!!

You’re asked to design/come up with something to giveaway to fans at your gigs, what would it be?

Matt: If it was me I’d like to design an INJU5TICE flat peak cap.
Chris: A watch, with an alarm that goes “Eh Oh Oh, Eh Oh Oh.”
Hahahahaha

What’s your favourite part of music history? (acts/genres etc)

Harry and Matt: Swing, love it
Luke: I loved my childhood music!! The pure cheesy pop of the late 90’s.Haha love it!!
Chris: Yeah the 90’s were wicked.
Kyle: I really like 80’s music.

What was the last thing you googled online?

Chris: INJU5TICE, I was curious to see what came up
Matt: Breakdancing, I’m always googling that
Harry: I don’t think I should be telling you what I last googled!
Kyle: I googled Christina Aguileras new song!
Luke: I googled “Lost,” It’s my favourite show on TV! I’m obsessed!

Have you any funny ‘You’ve Been Framed’ style stories you can share with us?

When we were shooting one of the videos for the album, we went up this massive hill to record. It started raining so we ran down the hill back to the car. Matt and Chris started skidding down the hill, and Chris literally went FLYING! We all couldn’t stop laughing for like half an hour. He was covered in mud. Hilarious! Proper “You’ve Been Framed” moment.

Who would you most like to interview and what would you ask them?

Matt: Kelly Brook, and I’d ask, will you marry me?
Luke: I’d like to interview Lady Gaga, I don’t know what I’d ask her, I really wanna know what shes actually like, if shes really that weird lol
Chris: Kate Moss, and I’d ask, do you fancy a night out!?
Kyle: Beyonce, and I’d ask, how does she cope with all the fame and how does she have so much energy on stage?!
Harry: Christian Bale, and how does he get his hair so perfect!

Do you still buy CD singles/albums, or is it all about downloads?

Luke: I download singles, but I like to have the CD albums for my car.
Matt: I buy CD’s too!
Chris: I think when buying singles now, it’s all about downloads!

Who do you think we should watch out for music wise this year?

INJU5TICE of course haha.

And finally what else should we know about your act?

We have a lot of audience interaction. We have a mix of sounds, from your ballads to your high energy dance numbers, with back flips!!!!! You would be crazy not to buy our album and miss our shows!!

From Back Flips to Ballads, this boyband certainly seem to have a few tricks up their sleeves, and they were put together by boyband maestro Ian Levine! You can check them out for yourselves when their new single ‘Long Long Way From Home’ is released on 26th July, which is preceded by their album ‘Most Wanted’ on 19th July 2010.
