80’s Rewind Festival Back In 2010

Although the summer (or what we had of it!) may seem like a dim and distant memory for some, there’s one event that’s still getting all you music.co.uk readers talking, and that is the 80’s Rewind Festival. We’ve had many positive comments from readers about the event, and as big 80’s fans ourselves, it’s great to hear so many of you enjoyed it! Of course the burning question now is: will the 80’s Rewind Festival be back in 2010? Well we have some news hot off the press from the event organisers, which I’m sure will get you all excited!

80’s Rewind Festival WILL be back in 2010. Organisers have reported that this years event was a huge success, and with that in mind there was only one thing to do, bring back the festival bigger and better than ever in 2010! Although next years line-up will remain a closely guarded secret until all acts are confirmed, there is ONE thing we can tell you about 80’s Rewind 2010, tickets are on sale tomorrow!

All you early birds out there can buy either weekend or camping tickets from tomorrow (18th September) at 2009 prices. Next years event will take place from the 20th-22nd August at Temple Island Meadows near Henley on Thames. There will be day tickets available at a later date, once the full line-up for the event is confirmed. For all the information you need, please visit www.rewindfestival.com.

Music.co.uk will bring you all the latest news and gossip on the event as it comes in, and maybe even a few interviews too, so keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime, here’s a word from event organiser David Heartfield.

“We are very busy working on the line-up for 2010, and have already confirmed a number of great acts for next summer. We won’t announce them until the whole line-up is put together, however the enormous success of this years festival makes us confident that it will be even bigger, and better next year.”
