MTV VMA Nominees Announced

Nominees for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced – with Beyonce, Iggy Azalea and Eminem leading the way.

The nominations for this year’s awards show have been announced, with some of the biggest names in music battling it out for a trophy.

Beyonce is among those with the most nominations with eight to her name; including – Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Collaboration and Best Video With a Social Message.

The singer is matched by Eminem, who has also received eight nominations, including Best Hip-Hop Video for his single ‘Berzerk’.

Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams have also racked up several nominations; with Williams nominated twice in the ‘Best Male Video’ category.

This year’s MTV Video Music Awards will take place at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Sunday, August 24.
